HI THERE, I'm TINA
I sat there, tears streaming down my face. I knew that everything was going to be good. Everything was good. I went outside and sat by a tree. Happy. Calm. Still in tears, but fully present and fully me. Everything would turn out well. Everything was the way it was meant to be.
My life was the same, and never the same, after that.
You know, I didn’t always feel so great about myself. Years ago – already well on my yoga journey – I had a yoga crisis. My practice felt forced, like a burden, and I wasn’t drawing energy from it. I wasn’t going to give up, though, and in order to learn to meditate ‘properly,’ I signed up for a 2-month course in a Buddhist Center.
Daily meditation sessions and the loving, knowing guidance of a Tibetan monk, a.k.a. a professional meditator, did their magic. That presence! It was this indescribable feeling of being seen, heard, understood, and supported. Without saying much. Two weeks into the program, I had this pivotal moment.
I was filled with joy the moment I started to truly, madly, deeply love my life.
The more I learned about Buddhism, the more it made sense to me. Wow, all this insight from 2500 years ago, and yet it fits spot-on! I was on fire. I literally absorbed whatever I could about this ancient practice. I had this knowing that I would, one day, build bridges with it. Being bi-cultural myself, cultural translation is a key skill of mine. I get what people need in order to understand something at a deeper level.
I became a Buddhist. I found answers to some questions I had asked myself for a long time. It wasn’t about reading more books, though. Or sitting still in an hour-long-meditation that did it. It was holding space, feeling the presence, the loving support and having a community that backed me up that really helped me to let go, trust, and be. From then on, I was able to combine different tools from Yoga, Buddhism and somatic practices that I had learned along the way. And together, they work their magic.
It was as if someone had given me the key to a previously unknown world. And it looked like ours, but it felt differently.

You will learn to find depth and clarity. Find out more about your self, your mind, and how it all connects. Without needing to stay in a cave or beam yourself into some fantasy world. Fully being you while needing less (and less) to insist on being you. You will learn how to meditate, stay grounded, fully connected to life, and then you get to choose what kind of life you want to live.
And now, it’s your turn. I will share the path so you find your true inner voice.
And since then, my life has taken on a completely different path. I became a mom. I have found my true calling. I am living a life on my own terms. I have found that intellect is useful. Intuition is key. Connection is a must. Gratitude a gift.
Finally, there was the moment when all the seemingly disparate segments of my path made sense. I had found my inner voice.
